About Dr Craig Taylor

Dr Craig qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Glasgow University in 2017. During his time at university, he gained experience working in areas of high dental need, assisting patients with dental anxiety and significant dental issues. After graduation, he worked as the sole family dentist in a small village, providing a wide range of treatments to patients of all ages, from babies to those in their 80s and 90s.

Dr Craig practiced in Scotland for five years before relocating to Sydney in 2022. Throughout his career, he has developed a patient-centred approach, focusing on holistic care and the impact of overall health on oral health. Additional training in endodontics has equipped him to perform more complex root canal treatments.

Outside of work, Dr Craig enjoys exploring Sydney and Australia, as well as engaging in outdoor activities such as rugby, swimming, and walking.

Special areas of interest: 

– Endodontics (Root canal treatment)

– Working with patients who have complex medical histories, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, to link general and dental health

What Dr Craig loves about dentistry?

Dr Craig finds great satisfaction in working closely with patients to develop long-term habits and practices that help prevent future dental problems. Empowering patients to take control of their own dental health and guiding them throughout their journey is a central aspect of his practice.

Additionally, turning a patient’s day around brings him immense fulfillment. Addressing issues such as pain or repairing a broken tooth often results in a profound sense of accomplishment, knowing that he has made a positive impact on their well-being.
